As part of continuous improvement process on July 28th T-Box introduced its new proposals and tools to help schools improve technology training of students, teaching methodologies and communication between families and institutions.
With the presence of principals, leading companies in the technology area, business partners and distributors in countries in the region, T-Box introduced several initiatives as part of the innovation project. Among the most outstanding innovations are:
• T-Box School 2: A new version of the tools for academic management, which includes options for managing grades, attendance record, record of each student, monitoring meetings with parents, among others.
• T-Box City: An educational proposal for elementary students to acquire skills to use various technological tools and apply them in real life situations. The project provides all materials to schools via internet
• T-Box Academy: A new online learning platform specially designed for schools. In this platform teachers of all subjects can create innovative projects including websites, videos, quizzes, documents, practical activities and more.
• T-Box App: Mobile application for parents to be connected with the educational work of their children and have the important school information from their mobile device: homework, follow-up meetings, events, newsletters, etc.
T-Box developed a national competition for students of all grade levels where they tested their ability to design programs, games and animations, as well as robotic models to promote meaningful learning according to the methodology offered by T-Box.
With the participation of 30 schools divided into 62 teams with a total of 248 students joined with their teachers, parents, evaluators, judges, T-Box team and the general public, was held on September 24th in hall 5 of CIFCO the event called T-Box Code 2016. The theme this year was Olympic Games, which served as inspiration for various programming and robotics projects. It also sought to promote the Olympic values as a key in the formation of students: excellence, friendship and respect.
T-Box Code is an event for schools across the country to show their progress in the programming and robotics area. This event is based on STEAM approach: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (for its acronym in English). In education this approach has flourished in recent years and seeks to develop an integrated learning, in which the contents of each of these areas do not work in isolation.
T-Box Code was organized into two main areas: programming and robotics. Each area was established into categories for schools to determine their teams.

Through this and other events, T-Box encourages schools and their students to use technology in an innovative, creative and meaningful way.
