In El Salvador: the search for the National Champion of Microsoft Word begins.

08 de march de 2013

Microsoft El Salvador and EDGE, through its T-Box brand, announced the beginning of the National Competition of Microsoft Office (in Word 2010), which seeks to promote the development of Salvadoran students' technology skills by recognizing the most talented user of Microsoft Word, and determining who will represent the country in the Microsoft Word World Competition to be held in Washington, D.C.

This year the competition will again be sponsored by HOLCIM, TCS Foundation, Cool FM Radio, FUNDEMAS, El Diario de Hoy, and SVNet, companies and organizations interested in promoting the talents of Salvadoran youth abroad. "At the launch of the seventh edition of the Office Challenge, we have high expectations, a result of the excellent participation than in the past few years we have had at regional and global levels. This year will be no exception," said Mr. Juan A. Valiente, CEO of EDGE. He also stated that "once again we reaffirm our commitment to keep promoting the responsible use of technology and to reduce the digital divide, improving the chances of success for Salvadoran students."
